The historic hotel exudes a captivating charm, upgraded with its Victorian style and beautifully decorated rooms. My experience was made even better by the extensive breakfast spread, with locally sourced ingredients and a good assortment of options. The location is unbeatable, providing easy access to local attractions and the fine Stortorget Square right outside my window.

Very close to the railways station and staff is nice, very polite and helpful

1)No information in the room(I had a problem and I didn't know which tel nr to dial to reach reception/restaurant etc).2) Air condition is centralized, it was too cold and air came directly to my bed causing a bad pain on my back in the following day & a very bad cold for one week.

The hotel is beautifully situated near the main square. The breakfast was really good, with a wide variety of hot and cold choices that I enjoyed every morning.

Limited parking options.

Staff was ok but somewhat mismanaged: there was a tray outside a door in the night and no one took it away until 10.30 am of the day after.

Charming historic ambiance with a good breakfast variety.

Unfortunately, my stay had several downsides. The bedroom, while nice, lacked a mini bar and the safety box was missing, typically standard in hotels. I found some bathroom tiles were broken, and one of the bed legs was quite loose, which affected the comfort .

Legendary old-fashioned place, it has best possible location close enough to train station, and shops, restaurants, station, car parks. The room is functional and brand-new with exceptionally comfortable bed.

super central location to everything in the city with wonderful views. short walk to shopping and night life, train station, shops and restaurants, and the restaurant, marble hall and stairs.

Honest review

The enchanting historic charm of this hotel makes it a good stay, great location near the Central Station. The breakfast is really good, with a vast array of delicious options. The staff are friendly and accommodating, ensuring a warm welcome. The decor shows signs of wear, which could use some refreshing.

Staff in the reception was very good, a yuong lad, and the bartender.

The room was small and the bathroom should not be used by anybody over 30.

Charming Victorian building.

Scandic is a chic hotel with tons of character, right near public transport. The room was super comfortable, and it's walking distance to the charming old town. We also loved relaxing in the sauna , a nice touch.

The breakfast was amazing! The wide selection of food made mornings a delight. I was disappointed by the lack of a mini fridge in my room 😊

Absolutley shocked by my stay. No safe in the room, and the wooden floor felt icy! On top of that, i expected a mini bar or at least complimentary snacks-woudl have been nice. Nearly gave a good review, but just couldn't because of these glaring oversights. I prefer some luxury during my travels!
